Helping you learn to
trust your wings.

Psychotherapy for women in search of their voice.

Illustration of waves, plant, and a cliff with trees and a house on top, in a minimalistic style with textured surfaces.

You know something’s off.

You can feel it in your body, in your gut, in that quiet little voice you keep silencing. You know you need to say something. You know that if your loved one were in this exact situation, you’d be cheering them on to say what they need, what they want, what feels non-negotiable.
But the words never get said. You can feel the lump in your throat where all the words come to a screeching halt, like traffic piled up during rush hour. Saying the truth feels impossible…because of the feared consequences: conflict, hurt feelings, tension, abandonment, judgment. Or maybe you don’t even KNOW what you want to say…just that something is very very wrong.

That’s where I come in.

Vicky Huangfu, PsyD, is the founder of Raven Psychotherapy. She practices EMDR therapy in Nevada, California and Oregon.

I’m Vicky.

I help women like you—smart, intuitive, deeply feeling women—who are at a crossroads. Women who know something has to change but are stuck on the words. Because some of the most powerful words are also the hardest to say: NO — I can't. I don't want to. Not anymore.
I’m not okay — I want. I need. I feel like I'm disappearing.
I am okay — I’m not broken. I’m not lazy. I’m not too much or not enough.
STFU — to the noise from your partner, your mother, your best friend, loved ones who “mean well” but aren’t listening. This isn’t just about learning to speak.
It’s about reclaiming the space your voice was always meant to fill.

As a clinical psychologist and EMDR-certified therapist, I'm here to help you SAY THE DAMN THING! Rooted in cultural humility and shaped by my own journey as a woman of color and child of immigrants, my practice honors the complex identities and transitions we all navigate. I am committed to providing a trauma-informed and affirming space where you can get in touch with what is true for you. Like the raven—adaptable enough to thrive everywhere from the Arctic tundra to the deserts of the American Southwest—I support my clients in placing the past where it belongs and soaring forward with confidence and poise.

A clinical focus born of lived experience.

I believe therapy is most powerful when it’s personal, which is why I specialize in supporting women with many of the challenges I’ve faced and grown through myself.
